Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Audesian at audesian.com. By creating an account you agree to them. They're written to be read, so please do.
1. Who we are
Audesian is a trading name of Wildcard, Long Copse House, Higher Coombe, Shaftesbury SP7 9LR, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact us at info@audesian.com.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
2. What Audesian is, and isn't
Audesian lets you write self-hypnosis and visualisation scripts, turn them into spoken audio, and listen back.
Audesian is not medical or psychological treatment, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist or other qualified professional. If you have a mental or physical health condition, including epilepsy, psychosis or severe depression, please speak to a professional before using self-hypnosis.
Never listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your full attention. Sessions are designed to relax you deeply.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or over to use Audesian.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- One person per account. Plus is for your own personal use and may not be shared or resold.
4. Plans
Free
Every account starts on the Free plan, which includes 5 minutes of generated audio in each rolling 30-day period, starting from your first generation. A single script may take you a little over that allowance; once it's used, generation pauses until the period renews. Everything else — writing, editing and listening to audio you've already made — stays available.
Audesian Plus
Audesian Plus costs £7.99 a month or £79 a year, including VAT where it applies. It gives you unlimited audio generation, subject to fair use.
Fair use
Plus is priced for personal use. To keep it sustainable, an account that generates more than 10 hours of audio in any 30-day period will have generation paused until its usage falls back under that level. Audio you've already made is never affected. We may also suspend accounts that use the service in automated or abusive ways (see section 7).
5. Paying, renewing and cancelling
- Plus is paid in advance, monthly or yearly, through Paddle. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings in the app. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account returns to Free. Nothing you've made is deleted.
- If we change the price of Plus, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, and the new price starts at your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
6. Refunds and your right to cancel
Payments are non-refundable, including for part-used months or years. The Free plan is there so you can try Audesian properly before paying. See our refund policy.
If you're a consumer in the UK or EU, the law gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase. Because Plus gives you access immediately, by upgrading you ask us to start providing it straight away, and you acknowledge that you lose this right once you begin using Plus — for example by generating audio — within those 14 days. This doesn't affect any other legal rights you have.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- use Audesian to make anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexually exploitative, or content about a real person designed to deceive or harm them;
- clone anyone's voice without their clear permission;
- use scripts, bots or automation to generate audio, or try to get around the allowance or fair-use limits;
- resell, share or sub-license access to the service;
- interfere with, probe or reverse-engineer the service or its security.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where it's fair to, we'll warn you first.
8. Your content
Your scripts, and the audio made from them, are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the service for you, including sending script text to our voice provider to turn it into speech. You're responsible for what you write and for having the rights to it. Our privacy policy explains how your data is handled.
You may use audio you generate for your own personal purposes. The voices are provided by third parties, so please don't publish or sell generated audio commercially without asking us first.
9. The service
We work hard to keep Audesian running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or improve features over time. Please keep your own copies of anything important, using the backup options in Settings. If we ever close the service, we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your work.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Otherwise, we're not liable for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for loss of data you could have backed up. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Cancel any Plus subscription first so you aren't charged again. We may close accounts that break these terms, as described above.
12. Changes and the law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or EU, you can also bring proceedings where you live.
